After handing over the Al-Wadiah crossing point to the local authority…military leaders affiliated with Hashem Al-Ahmar arrive in Sana’a and declare their allegiance to the Houthis

No more than 72 hours passed after the Al-Wadiah land port was handed over to the local authority in Hadramout Governorate, until the leaders of the Brotherhood affiliated with Hashim Al-Ahmar, who controlled the port, began to join the Houthi militia and reach Sana’a one by one.

Late Thursday night – Friday – the Iranian-backed Houthi militia announced the arrival of the military commander called “Hakim al-Ahmar” in the Hashem al-Ahmar Brotherhood brigades, who had controlled the al-Wadiah crossing for the past eight years, to southern Sana’a and his joining the rebels.

The Houthi leader, Muhammad al-Bukhaiti, published, on his official account on the Twitter platform, a picture of the leader, Hakim al-Ahmar, the military commander in the 141st Brigade of “Hashim al-Ahmar”, confirming his arrival in Dhamar Governorate, south of Sana’a.

Al-Bukhaiti confirmed that Al-Ahmar returned to join the ranks of the Houthi militia.

During the past two days, the governor of Hadhramaut governorate formed a committee from the local authority to conduct an inspection and submit a comprehensive report on the status of the Al-Wadiah port, after it was handed over by the forces of Hashem Al-Ahmar of the Islah party – the Yemeni Brotherhood – after eight years of tampering with the most important and largest land port and wider. Entry and exit movement of Yemeni expatriates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to southern activists, the leader, Hakim al-Ahmar, who arrived with the Houthi militia in Sana’a, was the first financial official at the al-Wadiah crossing.

Activists said that the ruler of al-Ahmar belonged to the Islah Party, and was an agent of the Houthi militia, monitoring their military movements and the support provided by the Arab Coalition for legitimacy.

They pointed out that like the ruler of al-Ahmar, there are thousands of agents of the Houthi militia in the first military region, whose presence has become a great threat to the south and the liberated areas.
