A 20-year-old British Nazi who filmed himself blowing up his kitchen while making explosives and claimed that ‘minorities should be shot’ has been jailed for eight and a half years. He was convicted last month of possession of explosives, terrorism and possession of firearms
A Hitler-obsessed Nazi racist who claimed minorities ‘should be shot’ and blew up his kitchen while experimenting with explosives has been sent to a criminal institution for eight and a half years. Vaughan Dolphin, 20, called himself a “dangerous lunatic” after starting a “fireball” in his kitchen while making gunpowder.
The police discovered that the radical young man turned the family warehouse into a weapons factory where he produced homemade improvised explosives. A jury determined his sentence after his bedroom refrigerator contained bags of bomb-making chemicals.
-Dolphin, who lives with his aunt in Walsall, West Midlands in the UK, was convicted last month of possession of explosives, terrorism and possession of a firearm. This is what the ‘Daily Mail’ reported.
-Judge Melbourne Inman said in announcing the sentence that the defendant was a member of “extreme right-wing groups that hold extreme racist ideas and an ideology of white supremacy as advocated by the Nazis.” The judge noted: “You knew that at least some of these groups were terrorist groups, the jury rejected your claims that you did not hold such extreme beliefs and after hearing your words, I am sure that you believe in such beliefs.”
On June 14 last year, Dolphin posted a series of videos in a far-right chat on the encrypted Telegram app, showing his kitchen filled with smoke. In another self-shot video, he is seen in a gas mask surrounded by a cloud of choking smoke after a pot explodes on a home stove.
