The title here is not intended to distinguish the Arab Turks in terms of language, speech and practice, otherwise there are Turkish provinces whose residents speak Arabic fluently, and have never lived in Arab countries, and all of their ancestors are Turks hundreds of years ago, and the duty towards President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is not meant here either. The individual, despite his value and merit, whether at the level of his homeland or his nation, but what is meant here is the issue itself, which is represented by the person of Erdogan.
Arab Turks
As for what is meant by the Arab Turks here, they are the ones who came from their countries persecuted, and their paths were narrowed, and they did not find a place where they were safe for their freedoms and their religion except in Turkey, as many of them had other European countries, and others have already gone to it – may God facilitate the affairs of all – But they preferred and preferred to be in a country like Turkey, which combines in its religious ritual climate the European nature and the Islamic East to a large extent.
Years later, a number of them obtained Turkish citizenship, whether by virtue of the legal right, by virtue of the number of years in which they resided, or by the legal right by investment and ownership, or by virtue of the noble cause by virtue of the issues they fought for, which is what happens in other European countries, But the matter in Turkey was broader in terms of honoring, and it is a virtue that is thanked for everyone who rose to it and contributed to it.
This imposes an obligation on those who resided in Turkey, even if he did not obtain its nationality, or he resided and naturalized by its nationality, especially in the circumstances that she has been going through for a while, and are not new today, and because there are mistakes that are repeated in such circumstances, then it is necessary to advise and alert them, and it is not advice It does not come from above, but it comes from the experiences we went through in estrangement, whether estrangement from work, or estrangement from struggle.
Non-nationals
The first mistake made by some of those who obtain citizenship in countries other than their homelands is that they live in the culture of the guest, so he may live and die without mastering the culture or language of the country whose nationality he carried, and we have known in this people who are considered to be among those with religious and political issues, but they lived and died Strangers from countries where they lived half their lives, and perhaps most of their lives.
There is a not small percentage, unfortunately, who live in this spirit, and in this style, and he hardly knows the nature of the country, nor the people, but some of them stay for a period after leaving Egypt, for example, whenever he buys or sells something in the new country in which he lives, and whenever he deals financially, you see him He calculates it or compares it to the Egyptian pound, and the prices of Egypt, and remains locked up in his old life.
Rather, some of them live until they die in countries that are characterized by freedom and transparency in everything, with the mentality of the country in which they were expelled for security purposes, and they remain keen on secret work, and keen on isolation, except for those like him in language, thought, and livelihood, which is what makes these countries look at them With suspicion, due to the unjustified ambiguity surrounding their lives in countries where you can know the salary of the oldest and youngest employee, very clearly.
The right thing is for a person to live in countries whose nationality he holds, with the culture and method of the citizen, the son of the country, and not the foreigner, the stranger, because in this way he imposes on society the way he should be treated, so there is no meaning for him to accept from a Turkish citizen of Arab origin, to live as a foreigner, but He has to get involved in life and participate in it with all its details, which we saw with many Egyptian youth, and Arabs as well, at the time of the Turkish earthquake.
The experiences they went through in their countries benefited them, and so the rescue men, when they knew that they were Egyptians or Syrians, would accept them in the relief work, because they knew that they came from countries that had gone through humanitarian disasters, and they had experience in dealing, which was reported by a number of our youth, but what passed It was practiced by the youth in public work in Turkey, which was not done by the elderly, or the owners of medium businesses, except for those who were of a participatory nature and had an initiative spirit.
Resident partners, not strangers
--
And whoever resides in a country that does not hold his nationality, he must deal with the mentality of the co-resident, not the strange guest, and the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet set us as a model for a person residing or a citizen in a country other than his original homeland, but he lived in it as a good citizen in every sense of the word, He is the Prophet of God, Joseph, peace be upon him.
The Prophet of God, Yusuf, was harmed in his homeland, and those who found him sold him at a cheap price, then he was honored by those who bought him in the new homeland, but after a period he was unjustly imprisoned, and when he was in prison, a vision of the king was shown to him, and he interpreted it, and put a solution to the problem for them, for fifteen years. Years, he did not say here: they imprisoned me and did not do good to me, but he remembered his duty towards this place in which he lived, and he remembered his message.
And when he was empowered in the new homeland, and he became the dear of Egypt, and his brothers and his family who had wronged him before came to him, he did not forget the bonds of connection and kinship between him and them, so he was kind to them. Some of them were wronged, and a new homeland was wronged by him, but he did not stingy with what God bestowed upon him in terms of ideas and application.
A revolutionary and religious teenager
I presented all these premises, to talk about the Turkish presidential elections, and our duty towards President Erdogan, because it is a required introduction, as some people who hold Turkish citizenship deal with the elections negatively, and some of them fall under what we call political or religious adolescence.
There is a repetition of what happened during the era of the late President Mohamed Morsi, and the political luxury we lived through, which makes us weigh the people with the balance of the dreamy revolution. And if they knew what would happen in the events later, they would have known that they had to cling to their experience, no matter how weak it was, as it would have ended in rationality, so the remedy for the mistakes of democracy is more democracy, as the political sages said.
Some were affected by religious adolescence, so they wanted to weigh Erdogan now, as he used to weigh Morsi and other candidates, with a criterion: Will he implement Sharia? And he answers from himself: No, then I will not elect him. The same narrow-minded logic looks at his feet and does not understand that Sharia is not rituals that are held in mosques only, but rather that Sharia in governance is the achievement of justice, the greatest measure of security, freedom of expression, and the achievement of security. nutritional and social.
Why was Erdogan elected?
We have to fulfill our duty, as Turkish Arab citizens, by being positive in this society in which we live. If we ask those who live in Europe – and they are a minority – to enter into parties close to Muslim and Arab issues, then we are in a country whose majority is Muslim, and the rule in it is in the hands of A party so far advocates for most of our issues.
The duty here is a duty from many directions, as it is a legal duty, because it is positive that is required of us, and it is not required that we be negative, in an important issue like this. What we find available only in one candidate, namely: Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
It is a duty in terms of political interest, as the voter in the whole world goes to vote for whoever achieves his public and private interest, and we have not found a party where our private and public interests are achieved, whether they are political or other public interests, except in the same person: Erdogan and his party.
