Major General Khaled Fouda, the governor of South Sinai, said in statements to Al-Watan that the weather in the governorate is witnessing a noticeable rise in temperatures, with Sharm El-Sheikh recording the highest temperature, while St. Catherine recorded the lowest temperature at the governorate level.
Sharm El Sheikh Great 36 degrees
And the governor of South Sinai stated that the weather in Sharm El-Sheikh today, Friday, is hot from morning until evening, and the city of Sharm El-Sheikh recorded 27 degrees in the morning, and the maximum during daytime hours reaches 36 degrees, which is the highest temperature recorded in Sharm El-Sheikh this year so far.
He added that this weather is the best for practicing all marine activities, as the wind speed reached 8 kilometers per hour, and the humidity was 48%.
--Saint Catherine has the lowest temperature
Major General Tariq Abed, head of the city of St. Catherine, confirmed that the weather in the city of St. Catherine today, Friday, is mild during the day, as it recorded 21 degrees Celsius this morning, with calm winds and low humidity.
Abed added, in statements to Al-Watan, that the summit of Mount Musa recorded 17 degrees Celsius, while the summit of Mount St. Catherine recorded 14 degrees, which is the lowest temperature in the Republic.
The city recorded 25 degrees Celsius, Taba 25 degrees, and Nuweiba 25 degrees.
