Prices of vegetables in the transit market
Traders said that the price of tomatoes in the Obour market ranged between 100 and 130 pounds, hot peppers 6 pounds, lemons 10 pounds, zucchini 6 pounds, cucumbers 4 pounds, eggplant 2.5 pounds, and taro 5 pounds.
Traders revealed that the price of lettuce is 3 and a half pounds each, 7 pounds of iceberg lettuce, 8 pounds of broccoli, 8 pounds of red and white cabbage, spinach and molokhia 12 pounds per kilo, cabbage 12 pounds, and potatoes 6.5 pounds.

The merchants mentioned that the price of parsley, coriander, and dill is half a pound, watercress 1 pound per bundle, peas 20 pounds, beans 12 pounds, and colored peppers 16 to 40 pounds.

The merchants explained that the price of red onions is 15 pounds, 14 pounds of fried onions, 16 pounds of golden onions, 15 pounds of red pepper/chili, 10 pounds of bell pepper, 12 pounds of zucchini, 6.5 pounds of potatoes, 25 pounds of grape leaves, and 12 pounds of hot pepper.
