The candidate of the Turkish Nation Alliance opposed to the presidential elections, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, accused Russia of fabricating and publishing fabricated pictures and videos about the leader of the Country Party, Muharram Ince, who announced yesterday his withdrawal from the electoral race.

“My Russian friends, you are behind the plots and fake tapes that were revealed in this country yesterday,” Kilicdaroglu said in a tweet.

He added, “If you want our friendship to continue after May 15 (Turkish elections), withdraw your hands from the Turkish state. We still support cooperation and friendship with you.”

Kilicdaroglu’s accusations came despite Ince accusing the FETÖ of fabricating and publishing fabricated photos and videos about him.

Yesterday, the presidential candidate, leader of the opposition “Turkish Country” party, Muharrem Ince, announced his withdrawal from the presidential race, three days before the start of voting in the presidential and parliamentary elections that will take place next Sunday in Turkey.

Ince indicated that he faced an unprecedented smear campaign against him during the last 45 days, which he had not witnessed before in his life, according to him.

Ince accused the terrorist organization “Fethullah Gulen” of fabricating and publishing fabricated pictures and videos about him, and false news that has absolutely nothing to do with it, in order to discredit him, expressing his sadness that some opposition parties spread those rumors and pictures that targeted him.

Addressing the opposition, he said, “Pray them so that they don’t have excuses, otherwise when they lose the elections, they will blame us on the morning of the elections.”

Inge continued, “I ask one vote from every Turkish house for my party in the parliamentary elections, and I announce my withdrawal from running for the presidential elections.”
