The coordinator of the Justice Campaign in Arafat al-Dah canton, Ould Sidi Ould Amar Talib, said that he is confident that the party will win the legislative, regional and municipal elections that will take place tomorrow, Saturday.
Ould Omar Taleb was speaking during a festival organized Thursday/Friday night by Al-Insaf in Arafat in southern Nouakchott, as he added that he was “confident that Arafat will send her message tomorrow, Saturday, by voting for the party on all electoral lists.”
The coordinator indicated that tomorrow, Saturday, will be a turning point in the history of Arafat district, stressing that the residents of this district will give their votes to the lists of justice.-
The campaign coordinator of the ruling Justice Party in Mauritania, Al-Mukhtar Ould Ajay, said that they do not accept less than 26,000 votes in the elections in Arafat district, as the number of registered voters on the electoral list reached about 51,000.-
Weld Ajay added, during a meeting with the coordinators of the Justice Campaign in Arafat, that the party’s candidates in Arafat canton are unanimous, unlike the party’s candidacies in other provinces that witnessed division and angry protestors against the fairness options there.
He pointed out that fairness must be distinguished in this province, because the candidates were chosen at the request of “the party’s militants”, considering that these elections are “fateful”, as they are organized for the first time during the era of President Muhammad Ould Cheikh al-Ghazwani.
