The Public Prosecution ordered the imprisonment of a girl’s mother in peace for beating and torturing her. Last Tuesday, May 9, the Statement Department at the Public Prosecutor’s Office monitored the circulation of video clips on social media, in which a girl crying out for her mother’s constant torture, abuse, oppression, and bullying of her since her childhood, without releasing any records. With this, she continued to appeal to the Public Prosecution to find and protect her and to take the necessary legal measures. The Public Prosecution office immediately launched its investigations based on what was monitored.
The Public Prosecution Office sought to find the girl to question her, find out the details of her complaint, and take all necessary measures in that regard, until she found her and asked her.
The Public Prosecution began its investigations by looking at the content of the published video clips in an attempt to determine the whereabouts of the girl, and it turned out that she had run away from the house of one of her friends. He instructed the families about its exact location, and they met with her father, two sisters, and a neighbor adjacent to them in her mother’s absence, so the Public Prosecution accompanied them to question them.
A worker at the institute instructed the girl’s friend’s place of residence, so the Public Prosecution office went to him, where the girl was found, and she and her friend’s mother were taken to ask them.
--The Public Prosecution initiated the girl’s question with her debate, and it became clear that she had been injured in separate parts of her body, and by her question she testified that her mother had been accustomed to assaulting her for six years, beating and burning her in separate parts of her body with different methods and tools, such as using a knife, a piece of iron and hot water, in addition to her habitual bullying, cursing and degrading her dignity. .
By seizing her mother and interrogating her about the accusation attributed to her of beating her daughter and injuring her premeditatedly by using tools, as well as cursing her in a way that offends her honor and dignity, she denied what was attributed to her, denied her assault on her over the past four years, and justified her previous beating of her daughter with the intention of raising and refining her.
Accordingly, the Public Prosecution ordered the accused to be held in custody pending investigations, and the girl was presented to the Forensic Medicine Authority to sign a medical examination on her, and to determine her injuries, the cause and how they occurred, and investigations are being completed.
