Al-Marsad Newspaper: The retired officer and honorable content creator, Muhammad Bannouna Abu Rakan, narrated the story of his father slapping him while he was wearing his military uniform.

And he said during a video clip: “I remember my father, may God have mercy on him, when I graduated as a lieutenant from the National Guard, I went to him and kissed his head, and told him now that I graduated, what do you advise me?

And he continued, “I asked my father for a car, and we agreed that he would buy me the car and I would pay for it.” He indicated that he received the salary for the first two months and did not give his father any money.

He said: “One day when he was returning home, in the middle of the month of Ramadan, he was feeling hot and thirsty after long hours he spent at work from morning until afternoon. He owes 5,000, because he was recently married and his financial conditions are difficult, and in the second month he gave another friend 5,000.”

He pointed out that his father was angry, especially since he smoked and was fasting, and he spoke to his father in a loud voice and told him that he was free to dispose of his money, so his father slapped him in the face.

He explained that he left the house and rented a room, lived in it for a year and was communicating with his brother, and by the month of Ramadan his brother told him that his father wanted to see him, and indeed he went home and reconciled with his father, but he could not enter his room and sleep in it, and he preferred to be in the battalion.

He added, the lesson is that parents should not hit their children, and children should talk to parents in a decent way and not make them angry.
