Arresting those accused of killing a tuktuk driver in Qalyubia

The Public Security Sector, in cooperation with Qalyubia Security, managed to apprehend those accused of killing a tuktuk driver for stealing it in Qalyubia.

Al-Khanka Police Station in the Qalyubia Security Directorate received a notification from the residents that a body of a person was found next to him, a “tuktuk” vehicle in the station’s district.

By examination, the identity of the victim was determined, and it was found that he was (the driver of a “tuktuk” vehicle residing in the district of the center), and by summoning his father, he decided to leave his son from the house in a “tuktuk” owned by his brother on April 26, and he did not report his absence.

The efforts of the research team, formed with the participation of the Public Security Sector and the Qalyubia Security Directorate, resulted in the perpetration of the incident by 3 people, “one of whom had criminal information.”

They were targeted, and two of them were caught, “one of whom had a wound in the forehead”, and they were seized in their possession (a local individual and a number of bullets), and when they confronted them, they confessed to having committed the incident in partnership with the fugitive accused with the intent of theft, as they admitted their agreement to commit the theft incident, and for that, one of them prepared the seized firearm They were in their possession, and one of them stopped the “tuk-tuk” vehicle driving the victim, and the two accused took him on the pretext of taking them to the place where they were found, and upon their arrival, one of them pointed a firearm at the victim, but he resisted them and injured one of them, so one of the defendants fired a bullet at him, causing the injury that claimed his life, and they seized from him the (Amount of money) When they tried to steal the “tuktuk” vehicle, they were surprised that it broke down, so they abandoned it and fled.

Legal measures have been taken regarding the incident and referred to the Public Prosecution Office to conduct investigations, and the security services are intensifying their efforts to apprehend the last accused.
