Today, Saturday, the Cairo Economic Appellate Misdemeanor Court decided to postpone the first appeal session submitted by the journalist, Ahmed Ragab, against a ruling punishing him with one month in prison, a fine of 20,000 pounds and a bail of 1,000 pounds, for accusing him of insulting, defaming and defaming the mother of the murdered broadcaster, Shaima Gamal, to the June 12 session.

Lawyer Ashraf Farahat was the representative of Magda Ibrahim, the mother of the journalist, Shaima Gamal. He filed a direct misdemeanor against the journalist Ahmed Ragab and Ibrahim Tantawi, accusing them of defamation, insult and defamation through social media against his client. The lawyer demanded temporary civil compensation of one hundred thousand pounds.

And Farhat continued in the direct misdemeanor, that the defendant owns a platform through social media and YouTube, and called him a special mission with Ahmed Ragab, describing himself as a journalist, through which the advertiser hosted the second, calling him Dr. In which he was attending the investigations with the second accused and withdrew from the investigations after the accused gave the details of the incident, and the announcer took them to the first and second, dealing with the private life of the student and even the victim, and describing her with the worst characteristics that undermine her honor and consideration in society, and this was through the release of audio and video videos on his channel.

The investigation authorities ordered the referral of the journalist, Ahmed Ragab, and his lawyer to the Economic Court, accusing them of insulting and slandering the mother of the journalist, Shaima Jamal.
