The Zagazig Criminal Court in Sharkia sentenced two young men to life imprisonment, for killing a farmer by beating him and causing him a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage, for refusing to marry him to one of the girls of their family, within the area of ​​Al-Hussainiya Center.

The decision was issued under the chairmanship of Chancellor Sami Bayoumi, President of the Court, and the membership of counselors Hamdi Tolba, Hussein Ibrahim Ammar and Hazem Bashir, and the secretaries of Sami Samir and Tamer Abdel-Azim.

The events of Case No. 12654 of 2022 Al-Hussainiya Center Felonies, registered with No. 1215 in North Zagazig, date back to July 20 of last year, when the Director of Eastern Security received a notification from the Director of Criminal Investigations, stating that a notification had been received from the Al-Hussainiya Central Hospital, with the arrival of “Muhammad A.M.” H., a 30-year-old farmer, a resident of al-Husayniyya district, had a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage. He died two days later of his injury.

Investigations revealed that a quarrel occurred between the victim and the relatives of a girl whom the victim had proposed to marry, and he was rejected by her family members, and he renewed his request again, so a quarrel occurred between him and 2 of the girl’s relatives, during which he assaulted him severely with a wooden tool, causing him to fracture Skull spots and cerebral hemorrhage. The two suspects were identified as “Muhammad N. Al,” 30 years old, and “Mahmoud NS,” 28 years old. They were arrested by the Husseiniya investigations officers.

They were referred to the Public Prosecution in Husseiniya, which took over the investigations and ordered the two suspects to be imprisoned for four days pending investigations. They were charged with premeditated murder and then referred to the Zagazig Criminal Court.
