NASA continues to send astronauts into space on scientific missions to serve humanity.

And a new study confirmed that the “NASA” mission during the coming years to Mars will have a crew of only female astronauts, and the study indicated that this is due to their being more efficient, according to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”.

Researchers at the European Space Agency confirmed that there are several reasons why women prefer the trip to Mars, including that women use less oxygen, produce less carbon dioxide, and need less food than men.

The agency indicated that the expenditure of male astronauts on energy increased by 30%, oxygen consumption increased by 60%, carbon dioxide production increased by 60%, and water needs increased by 17%.

The European Space Agency simulated a 1,080-day mission with four female astronauts and found that they needed 3,736 pounds less food, saving more than $158 million.

The study confirmed that NASA and all other space agencies will start focusing on female astronaut crews on long space missions.

New space suit

Recently, “NASA” revealed its new space suit, “Artemis 3”, at the Houston Space Center, as the suit is the first update in 40 years, after it was designed in the seventies of the last century.

According to the New York Times, the new suit will be worn by astronauts on the surface of the moon, especially in the south pole of the moon, which has never been visited by humans.
