Xavi Hernandez, Barcelona coach, spoke about the team’s next match against Espanyol, in the match that will be held tomorrow, Sunday, at Power 8 Stadium, in the 34th round of the Spanish League.

Xavi touched on the departure of his colleague Sergio Busquets at the end of the current season, where he said: “He is the smartest player I have ever played with. It was great to be his leader. It is very important that he leaves the club after winning the Spanish League.”
Regarding the departure of Matteo Alemani, Barcelona’s sports director, the coach added: “The departure of Matteo Alemani is a great loss for us. He played an important role in restructuring the club. With his departure, we lose a very important asset, and I wish him all success. It was a pleasure to work with him.”
And he continued: “Winning the La Liga title is what matters to me more than winning the title against Espanyol or any other team, and I understand this advantage for the fans, that we achieve the title on the land of Espanyol.”
And he concluded: “The work of the honorary passage is respect for the title winner, and I did the pass in the Bernabeu against Real Madrid.”
