Al-Ahly club jumped to fifth place in the club classification according to the International Federation for History and Statistics, the annual classification of clubs for the year 2023, according to a number of major European teams, most notably Bayern Munich and Italian Napoli.
-Real Madrid topped the list with 320 points, and Al-Ahly ranked fifth in the world club rankings with 228 points, surpassing the Italian club Napoli in sixth place with 225 points, Bayern Munich, which came in 11th place, and Barcelona, Spain, who ranked 24th.
-Zamalek club came in 47th place in the classification table issued by the International Federation for History and Statistics.
Al-Ahly club defeated Esperance by 3 goals, in the match that took place yesterday evening, Friday, at Hamadi Al-Aqrabi Stadium in Rades, in the Tunisian capital, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
