The Norwegian Erling Haaland, the Manchester City striker, is at the top of the English Premier League scorer rankings for the current season 2022-2023, before the start of the 36th round of the Premier League competition today, Saturday.
Haaland is considered the top scorer in the English Premier League this season with 35 goals, after he scored a goal in the Citizens match against West Ham, which ended with the victory of the first 3-0, in the meeting that brought the two teams together at the “Al-Ittihad” stadium, within the postponements of round 28.
Haaland reached goal No. 35, reinforcing his lead in the Premier League’s top scorer rankings, to become close to the official announcement as the Premier League’s top scorer this season.
Haaland is superior in the English Premier League scorer rankings to Harry Kane, the Tottenham striker, who comes runner-up with 26 goals so far, while Brentford striker Evan Toni comes third in the English Premier League’s top scorer list with 20 goals.
While Mohamed Salah ranked fourth among the English Premier League scorers with 19 goals, followed by England and Manchester United star Marcus Rashford with 16 goals.
