• Investigations: The accused set the bodies of the two victims on fire to hide his crime

The Public Security Sector, in cooperation with Giza Security, was able to uncover the mystery of the murder of a person and his wife for theft in Giza, as it was found that the son of the victim’s sister was a “dangerous registered” behind the commission of the incident.

Al-Omraniya Police Department in the Giza Security Directorate received a report of a fire in an apartment in a property located in the department’s department, and the death of its residents (a person and his wife).

A research team was formed with the participation of the Public Security Sector and the Criminal Investigation Department of the Giza Security Directorate, led by Major General Muhammad al-Sharqawi, Director of Investigations. Its efforts resulted in the perpetration of the incident, the son of the victim’s sister “has criminal information” – a resident of the Khosus Police Station in Qalyubia.

In coordination with the Qalyubia Security Directorate, he was targeted and was able to be caught. Confronting him, he confessed to committing the incident with intent to steal, and decided to go on the date of the incident to their place of residence. After they hosted him, he neglected them and paid them several stab wounds, which claimed their lives, and he seized (a sum of money, some gold jewelry, 2 phones portable), and for fear of being exposed and caught, he set fire to the bodies of the two victims and fled on the run.

He also instructed about (the seized gold jewelry, and one of the two seized phones) with two of his clients, who “were able to seize them.” He also instructed about a sum of money, “the amount seized and the value of selling gold jewelry and the mobile phone,” and added that he got rid of the other phone by throwing it on the public road.

Legal measures were taken regarding the incident, and it was referred to the Public Prosecution Office for investigations.
