A delegation from Shefaa Al-Orman Hospital for free oncology treatment in Luxor participated in the celebration of King’s Day and the Dutch National Day, which was organized by the Dutch Embassy in Cairo in a major hotel in Luxor.
The participation of Shefaa Al-Orman Hospital in the events comes within the framework of the great cooperation between the Dutch Embassy and the Dutch community residing in Luxor with the hospital.
The events included a variety of artistic performances that blended the Pharaonic civilization with Dutch heritage and history, in the presence of the Dutch Ambassador to Cairo, Hens Moyes, embassy leaders and a number of public figures in Luxor.
Karen Khalifa, Chargé d’Affairs of the Dutch Embassy in southern Egypt, praised the participation of Shifa Orman Hospital in the events, noting that there is cooperation and a strong relationship between the Dutch community and the hospital, and that there were several visits made before to provide the necessary support to the hospital and patients.
Mahmoud Fouad, CEO of Shefaa Al-Orman Foundation, said that the presence of the hospital delegation at the seating ceremony of the King of the Netherlands is an activation of the community participation that the hospital management is keen on and an affirmation of the good and strong relationship between the hospital and the Dutch residing in Egypt.
