Less than two months after obtaining her PhD in the Department of Electronic Media at the Faculty of Mass Communication at the University of Damascus, The young woman, Rola Ahmed, continued her distinction and achieved her ambitions, to win recently the competition of scientific analytical articles organized by the (Primakov Center for International Cooperation) in Russia.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Dr. Ahmed explained that the competition was announced by the center in October of last year, and included presenting scientific and analytical articles on Russian-Syrian relations for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students, which aims to promote dialogue between young experts between specialists from Russia and Syria.
Regarding her winning article, Ahmed indicated that it focuses on the humanitarian aspect of the Russian-Syrian cooperation, and in it she talked about the humanitarian aid that Moscow provided to Syria during the years of the terrorist war against it, and how Russia was able to compensate for the geographical dimension with convoys of love and humanity, to prove that there is no race in existence between right and duty. , and its support for the right of Syrians to a decent life, and the duty of states to extend aid to them.
Ahmed indicated that the participating research articles were presented to specialists, and the winning articles were selected from among a number of Syrian and Russian posts, indicating that there are four other articles by Syrian participants that won the competition.
-Ahmed stated that she is preparing to travel to Moscow to participate in the “Meeting of Experts and Specialists in Middle East Issues” event, which will be held on the 16th and 17th of May, during which the winning articles will be presented.
-Ahmed added: Based on her victory in the competition, she will be one of the representatives of Syria in the “14th International Economic Forum (Russia-Islamic World)”, which will be held in the city of Kazan, the capital of Russian Tatarstan, from the 18th to the 19th of May, with the participation of 64 countries. and 59 Russian organizations.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Rola Ahmed obtained, on the twentieth of last March, the first doctorate degree in Syria in the Department of Electronic Media at the Faculty of Information at the University of Damascus.
