The Giza Drinking Water and Sewerage Company, headed by Eng. Mansour Badawy, organized a water convoy for drinking water and sanitation services in the village of Al-Barambel in the Atfih Center, which is witnessing the works of the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside.

The convoy dealt with a number of awareness and service activities, as the Awareness and Community Engagement Team educated and urged the people of the village on the importance of preserving the national projects implemented by the state, and conducted an opinion survey on the extent of customer satisfaction with drinking water and sanitation services, and distributed brochures bearing awareness messages on the importance of rationalizing Water and the necessity of optimal use of sewage networks.

The activities of the convoy dealt with the fact that the laboratories team collected random samples of drinking water from citizens’ homes to ensure its quality and conformity with the standard specifications for drinking water, in addition to researching and resolving a number of citizens’ accounting complaints.

The convoy completed its effectiveness by introducing citizens to the services provided by the company, such as water-saving parts and their importance in rationalizing consumption and reducing the value of the water bill, and defining the various channels of communication with the company, such as hotline 125, and the official page via the link and the company’s website.
