A terrible collision occurred between two cars in the Shahwan area, east of the city of Ajdabiya in Libya, and the accident resulted in the death of 5 people, including 4 Egyptians and one Libyan, and the injury of another person.
4 Egyptians were killed in an accident in Libya
The Libyan Central Gate stated that the bodies and the injured were transferred to the Martyr Ahmed Al-Maqrif Central Teaching Hospital, Ajdabiya.
For its part, the hospital’s media office stated, on its Facebook page, that “the hospital received six people as a result of the accident, including five dead, and another in critical condition, after which he was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care room.”
The media office stated that the five dead people included four Egyptians and a Libyan, noting that the medical and auxiliary staff are making every effort to save the life of the Egyptian citizen who was seriously injured.
In a similar incident that occurred last April, the people of the village of Manshiet Khashaba in the Qusiya district were mourned after the death of 7 of the village’s youth in a traffic accident in Libya.
One of the parents said that the young men, all from one family, traveled to the Libyan city of Benghazi to work, and their family was surprised hours ago when a relative called, informing them of the death of the 7 young men after they had been in a car accident.
It is noteworthy that the accident resulted in the death of 7 people from one family in the village of Manshaat Khashaba, affiliated to Al-Qusiya Center in Assiut Governorate. Saleh, 22 years old, Salem Muslim Abdulaziz, 35 years old, and Salah Mustafa Hussein, 21 years old.
Major General Essam Saad, Governor of Assiut, offered condolences to the families of 7 young men who passed away after they were involved in an accident that ran over a speeding four-wheel drive car driven by a child in the city of Benghazi in the State of Libya while they were waiting for a car to take them to their work site.
The governor directed to provide all aspects of support to the families of the victims, extending his sincere condolences to them and praying to the Almighty God to bless them with the abundance of his mercy and to inspire their families patience and solace.
