Drugs are divided into natural and manufactured, and each of them has its effect and damages, and manufactured drugs target the nervous system, and both of them lead to death.
I have previously dealt with the drug issue, and I will come back to talk about it due to its seriousness and the close relationship between it and the high rates of crime and the increase in its demand among different age groups and both sexes, and because it is one of the most important means of destroying families.
A few days ago, activists circulated a clip of an Asian who had taken an unknown drug that made him unconscious and later died. The scene reminded me of an American report on the drug Satan or what is called zombie, and we hope that everyone will learn from the scene and move away from the terrifying world of addiction.
The drug file tops the interests and priorities of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, and we followed his visit to the Criminal Security Sector to supervise the release of seizures of 162 kilograms of hashish, shabu, marijuana and one million narcotic pills, and to confirm his interest in the case.
-I will not stop for long in front of the large amount seized recently and the hundreds of seizures that our children are dealing with in the criminal security sector, and the reasons for targeting us with these huge quantities despite the small population.
-The causes of addiction do not go beyond emptiness, lack of parental control of children, bad company, exaggerated availability of the substance, lack of awareness and viewing the drug user as a criminal rather than a patient, and the lack of solidarity of state institutions in raising awareness of the seriousness of addiction and the ease of obtaining poisons in light of the terrible development in the means of communication and the penetration of the mafia Drugs in these communication networks and neglect to take advantage of the energies of youth.
As for the solutions, it is represented in concentrating control over the air, sea and land ports, and equipping them with the latest equipment for inspection, holding seminars at a high level, whether visual or audio, and the participation of parents and youth on poisons and how to prevent them. Schools, holding seminars to educate young people about the dangers of poisons, focusing on the press and television advertisements on the dangers of poisons and limiting their spread, intensifying inspection campaigns on dens of these poisons to eliminate them, and indicating the numbers that families can call when they suspect that a family member has abused, and reminding them of the confidentiality of reports of this dealing. Giving the issue of drugs the greatest attention by state agencies and institutions, especially the ministries of education, information, endowments, and civil society institutions, and not holding the “interior ministry” solely responsible.
