The Saudi club, Ittihad Jeddah, announced late on Friday evening that tickets for its match against Al-Batin in the Saudi League competitions had sold out, five days before the match date.

The Jeddah Federation, through its official account on the social networking site “Twitter”, published a picture of its fans during the support of the team in a previous match, commenting on it, “The match tickets have sold out.”

The tickets for the match were launched on Thursday evening and witnessed a great turnout by the fans, as 20 thousand and 815 tickets were sold one hour after the start of the electronic sale process.

Ittihad Jeddah will host the Al-Batin team next Tuesday evening at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, as part of the competitions of the twenty-eighth stage of the Saudi Roshan League.

Al-Ittihad leads the league table with 63 points, three points ahead of its closest rivals, Al-Nasr, three stages before the end, while Al-Batin bottoms the standings with 19 points.

On the other hand, the management of the Al-Ittihad team began collecting the passports of players and club workers in order to obtain a European “Schengen” visa for them, in preparation for the preparatory camp next summer, private sources told Al-Riyadiah newspaper today, Saturday.

The same sources indicated that the administration is studying organizing the camp in a European country and will determine the country after the end of the current season.
