And President “Sisi” appeared, apparently, standing in front of the tomb of the Messenger (may God bless him and grant him peace), while he began to be very affected, as if he was complaining about his condition and the situation in Egypt during his reign.

Wide mockery of the image of Sisi in the Prophet’s Mosque

The photo caused a wave of ridicule by the pioneers of communication sites in the Sultanate, and it received an unprecedented interaction on the page, as the number of comments on it exceeded more than 1,340 comments, most of which were mocking and unsympathetic to him.

In this context, the Omani, Basem Al-Jabri, mocked the photo, recalling Al-Sisi’s hadith when he said that the ice of his house spent 10 years with nothing but water in it, saying: “10 years in his refrigerator there was only water. Prophetic.”

Another Omani citizen said sarcastically: “This man has enough faith to unite his nation on a common word,” with the addition of a sarcastic “emoji” at the end of the comment.

An Omani woman expressed her mockery of the image of “Sisi” by saying: “Remind me of the people who call him on WhatsApp,” adding a “laughing emoji” at the end of the comment.

Another said, not believing his impact, by saying: “This is the literal meaning of the crocodile’s tears that we have not seen.”

Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq visits Egypt on Sunday

This visit is considered the first foreign visit of the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq, outside the Gulf countries since he assumed power on January 11, 2020.

Al-Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Salem al-Habsi, Minister of Finance, Dr. Hamad bin Saeed al-Awfi, Head of the Private Office, Abdul Salam bin Muhammad al-Murshidi, Chairman of the Omani Investment Authority, Qais bin Muhammad al-Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and Ambassador Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had visited the Sultanate of Oman since he came to power in 2014 twice, one during the reign of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said in February 2018, and another during the reign of the current Sultan Haitham bin Tariq in June 2022.
