The prices of vegetables and fruits stabilized during today’s trading, Saturday, May 20, 2023, in the Obour Wholesale Market.

The prices of vegetables are as follows:
Tomato prices stabilized, ranging between 3.5 and 5.5 pounds.
Potato prices also stabilized, ranging from 4.5 to 5.75 pounds.
Onion prices were fixed, ranging from 9 to 13 pounds.
Zucchini prices stabilized, ranging from 6 to 9 pounds.
The price of carrots has stabilized, ranging from 2.5 to 6.5 pounds.
The prices of beans ranged from 8 to 12 pounds.
Eggplant prices stabilized, ranging from 4 to 6 pounds.
And the price of bell pepper stabilized, ranging between 4 and 7 pounds.
The price of hot pepper ranged from 4 to 7 pounds.
Molokhia prices stabilized, ranging from 6 to 9 pounds.
The price of the municipal option stabilized, ranging from 4 to 7 pounds.
Okra prices stabilized, ranging between 20 and 30 pounds.

The prices of fruits are as follows:
The price of summer oranges ranged from 3 to 6 pounds.
The price of municipal lemons has stabilized, ranging from 5 to 15 pounds.
The price of Banat grapes ranged between 20 and 30 pounds.
Egyptian apple prices stabilized, ranging from 5 to 22 pounds.
Guava prices stabilized, ranging between 6 to 12 pounds.
Strawberry prices stabilized, ranging between 7 and 10 pounds.
The price of the cantaloupe ranged between 5 and 10 pounds.
The price of watermelon stabilized, ranging from 12 to 18 pounds.
The prices of local peaches have stabilized, ranging from 5 to 15 pounds.

These prices are considered wholesale, and transportation and shipping costs are added to them, and this price increases to the final consumer by a value ranging from 1.5 pounds to 3 pounds, depending on the quality, according to Hatem Naguib, deputy head of the Vegetables and Fruits Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.
