Proven in the correct prophetic Sunnah that Who does not pray On the Day of Resurrection, he will be gathered together with four men: Pharaoh, Haman, Qarun, and Ubayy ibn Khalaf, as stated in the hadith on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr, may God be pleased with them, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “He mentioned the prayer one day among his companions, and he said that whoever memorizes it, it will be a light, proof, and salvation for him on the Day of Judgment.” The Day of Resurrection, and whoever does not preserve it will have no light, proof, or salvation, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be gathered with Pharaoh, Haman, Qarun, and Ubayy ibn Khalaf.
Who does not pray He has committed a grave sin, so the one who neglects prayer must repent to God Almighty and perform the prayers he missed, and let him know that Prayer is the pillar of religion and one of the five pillars of Islam mentioned by the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – in his honorable hadith: “Islam is built on five: testifying that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, establishing prayer, paying zakat, performing Hajj, and fasting Ramadan.”
It was reported on the authority of Abu Hurairah – may God be pleased with him – that the Messenger of God – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – said: “the five prayersAnd from Friday to Friday, it is an expiation for what is between them, as long as major sins are not committed.” Narrated by Muslim, and on the authority of Othman bin Affan – may God be pleased with him – he said: I heard the Messenger of God – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – say: “There is no Muslim who attends a prayer that is not affliction, and he improves its ablution, And her reverence, and her bowing, except that it is an expiation for the sins before it, as long as it was not committed as a major sin, and that is the whole time »narrated by Muslim.
Imam al-Nawawi said in explaining the previous hadith: “And what he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: It was an expiation for the sins that preceded it, as long as it was not committed as a major sin, and that is for the whole of time.” What it means is that all sins are forgiven except for major sins, which are not forgiven, and it does not mean that sins are forgiven as long as they are not major. He did not forgive any of the minors, for this, even if it is possible, is the context of the hadiths. Judge Ayadh said: This hadith mentioned of the forgiveness of sins as long as they were not committed as a major sin is the doctrine of the people of the Sunnah, and that the major sins are pain. Does repentance or the mercy and grace of God Almighty expiate it? And God knows best.
Ruling on abandoning prayer
Dar Al-Iftaa responded to the ruling on abandoning prayer, saying: Prayer is the pillar of religion, and it is one of the pillars of Islam, and God Almighty commanded us to establish prayer. He, Glory be to Him, said: {And establish prayer and pay zakat} [البقرة: 43]Prayer has a special care in Islam, so pillars, times, beginning and end are specified for it, and it is not permissible to delay it beyond its time except for a legitimate excuse, and leaving prayer is not laziness as a legitimate excuse.
And Dar Al-Iftaa added, in its answer to the question: What is the ruling on leaving prayer? For whoever abandons it out of negligence and laziness, we must persevere in advising him and encouraging him to preserve it with wisdom and good advice. As the Almighty said: [النحل: 125], with patience for that, no matter how long it takes; As the Almighty said: {And command your family to pray, and be patient with it} [طه: 132]And pray for him with guidance and for God to open his chest for his obedience.
And she continued: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, used to say: “A man’s supplication is answered for his brother in the back of the unseen, at his head is an angel who believes in his supplication, whenever he He said: Amen, and you have the same.” And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: “Hurry up supplication.” An answer: an absent supplication for an absent person.” For he is committing a sin and needs someone to take his hand from its solution, not someone who makes him lose hope of repenting from it, so he will help him to insist on it like the devil.
Ruling on abandoning prayer
Al-Azhar International Center for Electronic Fatwa reported that Who does not pray denies it, thinking that it does not benefit him, and leaving it will not harm him, denying the hypothesis the prayer It is an evil known from the religion by necessity, and it bears the consequences of that, which the judiciary and the ruler estimate in its matter.
Al-Azhar stressed in its answer to the question: “What is the ruling for one who abandons prayer and what is his punishment?” Who does not pray Laziness with his confession of his negligence and sin, he is a sinful Muslim who has committed a major sin, not an infidel or an apostate, and this is the saying of the majority of jurists from the predecessors and successors, such as the imams Abu Hanifa, Malik and Al-Shafi’i, and Imam Ahmed in one of his two narrations, and others.
And he continued: Even if he did Who does not pray lazeA person other than prayer is one of the obligations. His obligation is discharged from the obligation that he performed, and it is waived from him by performing it, and acceptance is in the hand of God. Likewise, if he slaughtered or sacrificed, then there is no harm in eating his sacrifice, and there is no problem.
Leave prayer in the doctrines
Al-Azhar quoted the saying of Imam Ibn Qudamah al-Maqdisi al-Hanbali, who favors the narration reported on the authority of Imam Ahmad and al-Hakimah in Islam. Who does not pray lazily Driving on his saying many evidences, the Imam, may God have mercy on him, says after presenting the evidence: “…we do not know in an era of hurricanes anyone who left prayer who left his washing, praying for him, and burying him in Muslim cemeteries, and his heirs did not prevent his inheritance, and there is no prevention that is the inheritance of his inheritor And there is no difference between a couple to leave the prayer from one of them, with the large number of those who leave the prayer, and if he was an infidel, all these rulings would be proven, and we do not know among Muslims that the one who abandons the prayer must make it up, even if he was an apostate as some claim, he did not have to make up a prayer or fast .
And he continued: that Ibn Qudamah also said in his book “Al-Mughni”: As for the aforementioned hadiths – i.e., which indicate disbelief Who does not pray As the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Between a man and polytheism and disbelief is the abandonment of prayer.” [أخرجه مسلم]- It is a matter of harshness, and likening him to the infidels in that they do not pray, not in reality, as he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Insulting a Muslim is debauchery, and fighting him is blasphemy. And he said: Disbelief in God is disavowal of lineage, even if it is accurate. And he said: Whoever says to his brother, “O infidel,” one of them has committed it. And whoever says: We have been rained by the stars of the stars, then he is an unbeliever in God, a believer in the planets. And he said: Whoever swears by other than God has committed shirk. And he said: Drinking alcohol is like worshiping an idol. This is similar to what I want to emphasize in the warning, and it is the more correct of the two sayings).
Kufr abandons prayer
And he warned that while saying the infidelity of the one who neglects prayer is not presumptuous, those of the ancient jurists – who were few – referred to him have outweighed what his evidence suggested by consideration and reasoning, with the establishment of many controls that guarantee the safety of societies, and guard against the infidelity of a Muslim with suspicion. In Islamic jurisprudence in general, there is severe denial. On the permissibility of the blood of those who established Islam with certainty.
And Aban: Accordingly, these jurists and others do not correlate between the description of disbelief and the lawfulness of blood, and it does not mean a description disbelief They also have – that certain people are infidels only after fulfilling the conditions and the absence of impediments to disbelief, while entrusting this task to the guardian or whoever delegates them, such as judges; So that people are safe, and societies are stable

1. Monitor prayer times: Use a prayer times calendar, clock, mobile app, or any other method to keep an eye on prayer times.
2. Waiting for prayer until prayer: The main reason for delaying prayer is neglecting its appointments and being distracted during prayer times. The direct solution to this problem is to accustom yourself to waiting for prayers. This certainly does not mean that you should remain sitting on the carpet after each prayer waiting for the next prayer. To remain alert all the time to how much time remains for the next call to prayer, and to remain alert at every moment to your location of the day and other prayer times, even if the time for the call to prayer approaches, you are ready to pray before the call to prayer.
3. Get ready before the call to prayer: you hear the call to prayer, then you claim that you only want to complete what you started, then you forget to pray, and this continues for hours before you remember to pray again, is this a familiar thing for you! It is repeated a lot with all of us, so you must avoid this by preparing “before the call to prayer”, since you know the times of the call to prayer, and you are waiting for prayer to prayer, so you know when the time for the next call to prayer is, when there are 5 minutes left for this call to prayer, leave everything in Take your hands and go to prepare yourself for prayer, perform ablution, then spread the prayer rug and sit on it to ask forgiveness or praise or recite some verses for only two minutes before the call to prayer. More humble in prayer.
4. Go to the mosque: The previous step is very useful, but if you are a man, what do you think of performing it in the mosque instead of the workplace or home? Praying in the mosque helps commitment, as it doubles the reward, and unites Muslims on what unites them and reminds them of their Creator. Try to commit yourself to at least two prayers in the mosque every day.
5. And cooperate in righteousness and piety: the problem of delaying prayer is a common problem among people, and everyone aspires to overcome it. Cooperate with a friend, brother, or husband to get rid of it. Remind each other of the prayers, or prepare a schedule for evaluation and compete with each other. Wake each other up for Fajr prayer. and come up with your own ways to challenge this problem.
6. Praying that God will help you: No matter how much effort you make to keep the prayers on time, remember that this is a success from God.
