Today marks the anniversary of the death of the great artist Samir Ghanem, who is considered one of the icons of comedy in Egypt, as he presented many artworks that exceeded 250 works between cinema, theater, radio and television, through which he drew laughter on the faces of viewers in Egypt and the Arab world.
The late artist, Samir Ghanem, married the artist, Dalal Abdel Aziz, for many years, after they lived a love story, and the marriage resulted in both Donia and Amy.
The late Samir Ghanem revealed the beginning of his love story with the artist, Dalal Abdel Aziz, in one of the television programs, where he said about her: She is a strong and rural woman from Zagazig, modest, and a girl of people.
And he referred to the beginning of his acquaintance with her, pointing to circumstances that helped his association with Dalal Abdel Aziz, namely the death of his brother, and her standing beside him strongly during that period, after which the relationship grew throughout their work in the play “Welcome, Doctor” until they got married.
And Samir Ghanem continued, that he warned “Dalal” before he married her, that he is older than her in age by about 20 years, but she did not hesitate and insisted on marrying him and told him: “I agree with Malakish invitation,” stressing that she loves him very much, and this appeared after their marriage. And especially after she gave birth to “Dunya,” commenting: “Dunya came and turned my being.”
-- And Ghanem continued, that after this world she gave birth to “Amy”, and after that he discovered that God loves him, so he rewarded him by marrying him to “Dalal”, because she is a woman distinguished by generosity and a strong personality, commenting: “I remained in peace with her all the problems, and she answers my right.” .
And he pointed out that he helped discover his wife, the artist Dalal, explaining that the artist George Sidhom discovered her and nominated her to participate with him in the play “Welcome, Doctor.”
And the artist, Dalal Abdel Aziz, said that she was chasing the artist, Samir Ghanem, at some times before their marriage, because of her strong love for him, stressing that one of the artists advised him to marry her in order to get rid of his pursuit of her.
The artist, Dalal Abdel Aziz, passed away after she was infected with the Corona virus, a few weeks after the death of her husband, Samir Ghanem, without knowing of his death.
