Reham Al-Shabrawy, assistant rapporteur of the Family and Community Cohesion Committee at the National Dialogue, considered that the committee will work to discuss everything related to the family and how to create a state of community cohesion and cohesion, explaining that the committee’s plan proceeds according to 3 basic axes, the first is related to the phenomenon of divorce, limiting it and treating its effects, Including the issue of guardianship, according to which the first sessions are launched.
And she continued: “After going through the various stations related to the phenomenon of divorce and other phenomena that follow, we will pass to combating violence against women, and then finally a discussion regarding the emerging dangers of electronic violence,” considering that the launch date of the sessions was very successful, as Egyptian society desperately needs dialogue now. Dialogue, in its abstract sense, is a consensus and a rich discussion between its various components in many political, economic and societal axes, as it comes to confront the repercussions and effects left by the period of the Corona epidemic, then the Russian-Ukrainian war, and finally the events in Sudan.
She added that the current societal changes require a real and expanded dialogue to correct them and address the negative effects and phenomena in them, and I am confident in the ability of the national dialogue to do so, appreciating that the first agenda of the work of the committees revolves around national identity and personal status, and they are the most clashing issues with the current thorny files, which prove a clash National dialogue with real citizen issues.
And she stressed that the committee will do its best to achieve the interest of the homeland and the citizen, considering that the greatest guarantor of transforming the recommendations of the National Dialogue Committees into reality are the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who said that he would personally follow the final stages of the dialogue, and who expressed his willingness to transform his outputs and recommendations into executive measures, legislative amendments and awareness campaigns. She said, “We fully trust the political leadership, and we trust achieving the goals of the national dialogue without any obstacles.”
