This came during the minister’s participation in the activities of the opening of the third annual scientific conference of the International School of Clinical Oncology, in cooperation with the French Cancer Institute “Gustave Rossi”, the Emirates Oncology Society, the Jordanian Cancer Society, and the Arab Doctors Association for Cancer Control, with the aim of exchanging visions, ideas and scientific discussions. On the latest scientific findings in the field of oncology, in the presence of a number of leaders of the Ministry of Health and Population, representatives of the World Health Organization, and a group of the most prominent oncologists around the world.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said that the political leadership pays great attention to combating cancerous tumors and limiting their spread, praising the role and efforts of oncologists in clinical research, practice and continuing education, and the transfer of their scientific expertise to their colleagues.
