Paris Saint-Germain coach Christopher Galtier spoke about Lionel Messi’s position on participating in the Ajaccio match tomorrow, Saturday, in the thirty-fifth round of the French League.
“I spoke with Messi on Tuesday to find out how mentally ready he is to return to the matches,” Galtier said in his press conference for the Ajaccio match.
-Paris Saint-Germain and Ajaccio will meet tomorrow evening, Saturday, at ten o’clock at the “Princes’ Park” stadium, for the 35th round of the French League competition for the 2022-2023 season.
-And the Paris Saint-Germain coach continued: “Messi was completely calm during training. I think he is excited to be on the field again, as he has the desire to win another title with Paris Saint-Germain.”
And he added at the end: “Messi will be essential tomorrow in the Ajaccio match.”
Messi had been suspended for two weeks before being reduced by one week and missed the last Troyes match due to his unauthorized travel to Saudi Arabia 12 days ago.
