We weren’t expecting to see Edge’s PDF reader include a Bing Chat button, however. According to Leopeva64’s discovery, it appears that Microsoft is currently testing a conversational AI application in another section of its browser. Simply click the button to ask a question or start a discussion with the chatbot.
Have you noticed that Microsoft is very interested in AI right now? Obviously, the question is rhetorical, because it is absolutely impossible to escape all the company’s attempts to integrate Bing Chat into all its tools. Like Edge of course, via the sidebar of the browser, as well as the Office suite and in general some tests directly on Windows.
In the same vein, according to leaker Leopeva64, it seems that the publisher is currently testing the integration of Bing Chat into PDF reader in Edge browser. In the Canary channel, it is possible to start a discussion with the chatbot via the “Ask Bing Chat” button on the toolbar.
-Microsoft found a new niche in Edge to integrate Bing Chat
By clicking on it, a sidebar opens and a question can then be asked to the AI, as one might do through a browser’s Discover tab. There is nothing new at this level, therefore, Microsoft is simply reminding its users that they can use Bing Chat at any time in Edge.

Of course, at the moment, nothing says this feature will make its way to the consumer version of the browser. However, we’re not taking too much of a risk by saying this will be soon, as Microsoft seems to be pushing AI-enabled features on its software to the limit.
