While Maccabi Haifa is preparing for its match against Maccabi Netanya in which it will try to secure a third championship in a row, its players are receiving interest from overseas.
This time it’s Dolev Haziza’s turn, who is interested in the Greek runner-up, Panathenaikos, and the Turkish team, Sivasspor. As you may remember, Dia Saba came to Maccabi Haifa from Sivasspor and in the past also played in the media for Finny in Lilly. Ex-Lester, Ahmed Musa, is currently playing in its attack.
The two may submit an offer to Maccabi Haifa, since Haziza is not a free agent since he has a contract for another season with the Greens. Maccabi Haifa already sent him a message that they want to open his contract and extend it beyond next season, but they will do so only after the end of the season or the securing of the title.
Haziza arrived at Maccabi Haifa four seasons ago when he was purchased for 300,000 euros from Bnei Yehuda. Since arriving in Carmel, he has become a permanent member of the Israel national team.
Beyond the numbers in the league in recent years, he scored five assists this season in the Champions League qualifiers and also scored the first goal for the Greens in the campaign against PSG.
Soon in the green of Panathinaikos? (Maor Alxalsi)
