The Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football decided to impose penalties on Al-Ahly club, due to the events that took place during the Sudanese Al-Hilal match, in the African Champions League.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football was satisfied with imposing financial penalties only on Al-Ahly Club, as well as Al-Hilal, in the two complaints that they submitted to CAF several weeks ago.
-Al-Kaf clarified in the reasons for the decision that the match did not witness what prompted him to double the penalties, whether against Al-Ahly or Al-Hilal, or to take decisions to prevent the fans from attending the matches, which made the Disciplinary Committee content with imposing financial fines on both clubs.
-It is expected that the Confederation of African Football will send a text and the reasons for its penalties to both Al-Ahly Club and Al-Hilal in the next few hours.
Al-Ahly defeated Al-Hilal of Sudan by three goals without a response, in the last round of the group stage in the African Champions League, which qualified the team to advance to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly defeated Esperance of Tunisia, with three goals without a response, at the Hammadi Al-Aqrabi stadium in Rades, for the first leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.
