Dortmund loses Bellingham’s efforts to Augsburg

Borussia Dortmund is missing the efforts of Jude Bellingham, the midfielder, in its match against Augsburg, which is scheduled to be held the day after tomorrow, Sunday, in the German Football League (Bundesliga), and there are also doubts about the player’s participation in the last round match of this season next week against Mainz.

The 19-year-old Englishman was one of Dortmund’s stars this season.

Dortmund ranks second in the standings, a point behind Bayern Munich.

Dortmund coach Edin Terzic said in a press conference today, Friday :”Not much has changed from last week. Jude Bellingham couldn’t train with us until today. We have to wait and see what the next few days result in. All the other players are ready for the match”.

Bellingham, whose name was associated with moving to Real Madrid or playing in England, needed to undergo treatment on his knee during the match that his team beat Borussia Monchengladbach 5/2 last week, and the player put a bandage on it for several weeks.

Dortmund may need to win away from home to keep the competition for the league title until the last round, if Bayern beats Leipzig tomorrow, Saturday.

Terzic said :”We know that Augsburg wants to become an annoying competitor at home. He is always a match for his competitors, as the task will be very difficult. This team fights for every point until the end.”
