Mubarak Ardol: The proceeds of gold belong entirely to the state treasury, except for the smuggled

Mubarak Abd al-Rahman Ardol, head of the political bureau of the Democratic Alliance for Social Justice in Sudan, said that they want to end the fighting once and for all, because stopping the fighting without a comprehensive program may mean the return of fighting again, in his opinion.

Ardol calls for addressing the crisis in Sudan from its roots through “completely reforming the security sector, dissolving the militias, disarming them, merging what can be integrated, and then moving to a full political process,” he said.

The head of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Alliance for Social Justice in Sudan believes that the main reason for what his country is witnessing now is due to the rapid support forces seeking independence from the army so that they are superior to it and parallel to it, as he put it.

-

Mubarak Ardol also blamed the external forces for their attempts to impose the framework agreement, which was being sponsored by the Quartet and Tripartite Committees, “which ignored the objective facts, which led to a transition from a stage of political instability to a state of fighting in which the country is living,” he said.

Mubarak Ardol, director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, confirmed that the proceeds of gold produced in the various sectors of the state go to the Sudanese state treasury, pointing to the state’s full control over the mining sector, except for gold that is smuggled and responsible for various parties.

What is Mubarak Ardol’s vision for the military to hand over power to civilians in his country? What does he say about the UAE’s acquisition of most of the gold exported from Sudan? What are the justifications for Ardol’s presence in Cairo at the present time?

You will find answers to these and other questions in this week’s Unrestricted Program. The program airs on Sundays at 5:30 pm GMT. You can watch the program’s episodes at the following link
