A new cinematic collaboration brings together the artist Mohamed Heneidy with the artist Mona Zaki through the movie “Al-Jawaherji”, as it is considered the second cinematic cooperation between them in 24 years.
Mohamed Heneidy and Mona Zaki collaborated
The first collaboration between the duo goes back to the movie “Saidi at the American University”, starring a number of art stars, most notably Ghada Adel and Hani Ramzy.
The actress, Mona, plays the role of Heneidy’s wife during the movie “Al-Jawaherji”, and many comic paradoxes occur between them, while Yassin’s family embodies the role of a psychiatrist during the work.
A number of art stars also participate during the work, including: Ahmed Halawa, Ahmed Salah Hosni, Lebleba, Tara Emad, Reem Mustafa, and Arefa Abdel Rasoul.
The film was written by Omar Taher, under the leadership of director Islam Khairy, and filming began in mid-2021.
--The film is scheduled to be shown in cinemas during the coming period, within the Eid Al-Adha 2023 season.
Mona’s latest work
It is worth noting that the actress, Mona, recently participated in the series “Under the Guardianship,” written by Khaled Diab and Sherine Diab, and directed by Mohamed Shaker Khudair.
The artist Diab and the artist Nisreen Amin, Rushdi Al-Shami, Maha Nassar, Khaled Kamal, and others will participate in his starring alongside “Mona”.
The series discusses the issue of empowering women and the problems they face after the death of their husband in a social context.
As the actress plays the role of a married woman who goes into shock after the death of her husband, leaving her a son and a daughter who seeks to take care of them on her own.
