Major General Khaled Abdel-Aal, Governor of Cairo, witnessed the first preliminary meeting that took place within the framework of the ongoing preparations for holding the “Second Conference on Egyptian Health Tourism Applications”, which is scheduled to be held under the auspices of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, during the period from September 27 to 29, 2023 in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh. This is in light of the directives of the political leadership to make Egypt a primary destination on the global medical tourism map in particular, and to achieve the results of serious efforts to implement the goals of sustainable development in general in the era of the new republic.
The conference was attended by Dr. Muhammad Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs and Chairman of the Conference, Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai and Honorary President of the Conference, the governors of Marsa Matrouh, Fayoum, and Aswan, and deputies of a number of governors whose province is famous for the existence of medical tourism, and the mayor of Heves in Hungary, and a number of officials Ministries of health and tourism.

Cairo Governor added that the capital is proud of what it has witnessed over the past nine years of a comprehensive renaissance to make it a modern, modern capital after getting rid of chronic problems such as slums and traffic jams, through the expansion of building new communities, roads and axes.

Developing hospital areas
