The President of Luxor University inaugurates the Upper Egypt Physicians Association Conference on Pediatric Nerves

Dr. Hamdi Mohamed Hussein, President of Luxor University, opened the third conference of the Association of Upper Egypt Physicians on Pediatric Neurology, which is being held in Luxor Governorate, under the auspices of the President of Luxor University, Dr. Mostafa Abdel Khalek, President of Sohag University, and Dr. Ahmed Raouf, President of the Egyptian Society of Neurological Diseases. and psychology in children.

The head of the conference, Dr. Imad Hammad al-Dali, head of the Department of Pediatrics at Assiut University, stated that the conference is being held for the second time in Luxor, and this year aims to increase training and hold workshops for pediatricians, neurologists and physiotherapists in the field of pediatric neurology.

The conference president explained that the conference themes and lectures focused on discussing metabolic diseases. Diagnosis and treatment, in addition to various epilepsy diseases; Diagnosis and new treatment, in addition to discussing peripheral nerve diseases in children, as well as hypoxia in newborns and convulsions.

Dr. Abdel Rahim Abed Rabbo Sadek, Head of Pediatrics Department at Sohag University, Vice President of the Conference, stated that the conference will discuss, during the second day, delayed growth and mental and motor development in children, in addition to a workshop on cerebral palsy and the use of Botox injections.
