The Egyptian Post Authority, through its Facebook page, received many inquiries about the necessary procedures for activating the postal visa after receiving it.
It is known that if the Postal Visa is not activated or activated after receiving it from any of the post offices spread across the Republic, the customer will not be able to use it in withdrawals, deposits, or online purchases.
Steps to activate the Postal Visa
For its part, the Postal Authority clarified the procedures necessary to activate the visa, in response to inquiries from followers of its Facebook page.
The authority said, “To facilitate our customers, you can activate ATM cards through the SMS text message service.”
And she indicated that via text message, the last 6 digits of the card are sent from left to right to No. 6789 from the same mobile number registered with the data.
She added that the customer will be answered with a message to confirm the process of activating the Postal Visa.-
She also pointed out that the authority provides the service for all Egyptian postal cards (Classic – Gold – Meeza Pensions – Easy Pay – Meeza – Yalla).-
At the same time, I warned that in order to activate the (Easy Pay – Meeza – Yalla) cards, they must exceed 24 hours after purchase for the possibility of activation.
It also mentioned that the customer can activate the ATM cards affiliated with the Egyptian Post through the telephone banking service
At any time, 24 hours a day, by calling 16789 and choosing number 1 to activate the card. Or contact customer service on the following numbers: (0235315900 – 16789).
The Postal Authority noted that working hours for customer service start from From 08:00 am to 10:00 pm, seven days a week.
While on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays, working hours start from 10:00 am until 07:00 pm.
