A European call to maintain the status quo in Taiwan

It will take a long time to reconsider economic relations with China, Borrell said, noting that the EU continues to call for maintaining the status quo and promoting de-escalation in Taiwan because it is very important for global trade and for Brussels in particular.

For his part, Chinese Foreign Minister Chen Gang said today, Friday, that his country and Europe should reject the Cold War mentality, adding to reporters, during a visit to Oslok, that “if we have a new Cold War, the results will be more disastrous than the previous one.” According to the Russian news agency Sputnik.

Zhang said that the new cold war will seriously damage the relations and cooperation between the two sides, according to the French agency “Agence France Presse”.
