The parliamentarian mentioned the arrival of at least two planes with humanitarian aid to Port Sudan airport, and another to the border with Chad, to help the displaced and refugees who fled from conflict areas.
She added that the air bridge confirms the UAE’s endeavor to alleviate the suffering of civilians, especially the most needy, such as the sick, children, the elderly, and women.
It is noteworthy that since the beginning of the crisis, the UAE has sent more than 240 tons of medical and food supplies and aid, and has evacuated 744 citizens, foreigners, diplomats, journalists, and Sudanese, in addition to various humanitarian cases to the Emirates.-
