Samar’s evening as a wave at the Art House was a restoration of the traditional melody from the beautiful time. The audience enjoyed the musical program, which varied between songs by Fayrouz, Wadih al-Safi, Abdel Halim Hafez, Umm Kulthum, Asmahan, and pieces from Arabic folklore.

The audience was present for the artistic accompaniment, responding spontaneously to the band and expressing applause and accompaniment to the performance of Samar Kamoj, emphasizing the people’s thirst for the time of authentic rapture and beautiful rhythm.

The listeners were not satisfied with the traditional sound, so they demanded Samar Kamoj to sing a song by Asmahan without music, and she was the one who distinguished herself in the Studio El Fan program by performing Asmahan’s songs.

The singer was accompanied by a band of nine musicians on a variety of instruments, while the selection of songs was successful. Perhaps what Samar sang as a wave of “the ruins” was appropriate with the theater of the Art House, where the remnants of the stones of the ruins of those who passed through this ancient city.

This musical evening brought back what used to bring people together between the creative musical rhythm and the Arabic poem full of images, between nostalgia and longing in a clear translation of the love of the earth, “in its north and south”, and “May God return our joy” and those good old days.
