A new book by the writer and novelist Yassin Shamel was recently published by the Ramzi Aqrawi Foundation for Translation, Printing, Publishing and Distribution, entitled (What the Narration Contains and Declares) designed by the artist Tadamon Ali Al-Adab, with a distinctive and beautiful cover by the artist Farouk Hassan.
The 166-page book includes a number of important titles, including “The Act of Narration, Suspense, The Magic of Narration, The Sedition of Narration, The Reader’s Response, Writing the Novel Reading the Novel, Identity and Narration, Narration and Beauty, Narration and the Story, About the Post-2003 Iraqi Novel, The Idea, The Structure.” Personality, event, time, place, procedural applications.
In this book, the writer Yassin Shamel begins a reading of the Iraqi novel after 2003, such as the novel “Fattah Fall” by the novelist Abbas Haddad, the novel “The Key has Many Faces” by the novelist Mahdi Azbin, and the novel “Wet Letters” by the novelist Nabil Jamil, and he chose these novels as a model according to His vision of the post-change Iraqi novel that dealt with the Iraqi social and political reality and dealt with a specific period of time.
It is noteworthy that the writer Yassin Shamel was born in Basra, a member of the Union of Writers and Writers, a member of the narrative studio in Basra. He participated in artistic workshops dealing with story and novel. He published readings of several books on various topics, including novels, short stories and poetry.
