Abu Dhabi is preparing to host the activities of the 32nd session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center from May 22 to 28, 2023. from most parts of the world.

According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office, this year’s exhibition celebrates the concept of sustainability as a pivotal idea, in line with the UAE’s declaration of 2023 as the year of sustainability. The exhibition will witness various initiatives, events and seminars aimed at highlighting sustainability methods and international best practices in this field.

The authors of Dar Al-Shorouk participate in the activities of this session, and they are: Ibrahim Abdel Majeed, Ahmed Murad, Tariq Imam, Ahmed Al-Ghandour, Nasser Iraq and Walid Alaeddin.

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair was launched from its inception, under the name “Islamic Book Fair”, in 1981, in order to achieve the vision of “Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan”, “May God rest his soul.”

The conference will launch in its second session, under the title “Growth Opportunities in Adapting Storytelling”; To discuss a number of important issues, such as the reality of Arab fantasy literature and the challenges of converting it into visual creative content such as films, series and comics, and the use of technical media, comics and superheroes as sources of inspiration in entertainment education, and the impact of artificial intelligence tools on the content industry and its impact on human creativity.

Guests will have the opportunity to listen to innovative dialogues and group discussions, networking opportunities and attend various workshops, as well as visit an updated exhibition of best practices in enriching Arabic content in creative platforms and modern technical media.
